I was born and raised in Oklahoma in the United States of America, sharing the same roots as my entire extended family. When I was young, I was fortunate enough to travel extensively through Western Europe, Mexico, and the Caribbean. These early excursions started my fascination with the maritime industry, and I have pursued that path ever since, despite being from a landlocked state. My travels also made me more comfortable stepping into the unknown: to learn and work among various cultures.
After High School, I attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL, completing a Bachelors of Science in Marine Science with a concentration in Geophysics. Eckerd offered me a myriad of experiences due to their hands-on curriculum and emphasis on student involvement. While I was skeptical that Eckerd was a, "college that changes lives," I am a full believer now. Their program allowed me to be more inquisitive and explore a variety of topics while relating them back to my major. This adventure opened my mind to many future possibilities, including my longtime dream of studying in Europe.
Immediately following my college graduation in 2016, I began working in civil engineering around Tampa Bay, Florida. Then, in 2021 I decided to continue my education by following a Masters in Hydrodynamics for Ocean Engineering program at École Centrale de Nantes in France, where I currently live. I created this website to present my past experiences and future ideas as I search for my next opportunties in life. I can't wait to see what paths lie ahead and where they'll lead.
